Red Sea marina: a stainless steel and glass folding gate
A fully custom entrance for a high-end marina on the Saudi Red Sea coast, built for salt spray, sun and unattended access.

The brief
Our client, a marina construction contractor in Saudi Arabia, needed an entrance gate at the waterfront. The site sees high salinity, extreme humidity and strong UV. Ordinary metal gates there can corrode through in one to two years.
The gate also had to look modern and open, resist wind, and support contactless long-range RFID access for VIP members and staff.

Delivery and result
Our engineers checked the structure and load distribution against the site drawings, then optimized it for the weight of stainless steel and laminated glass. The gate was packed in full wooden crates and shipped to Saudi Arabia, and our engineers provided installation guidance and commissioning on site.
After long-term operation on the Red Sea coast, all SS316 parts and electrical systems remained free of corrosion and oxidation, and the RFID and concealed motor run the entrance unattended around the clock.
