The fold that saves your driveway
A swing gate needs a quarter circle of clear ground behind each leaf. A sliding gate needs a wall as long as the opening. A bifold gate folds each side into a compact stack against its post.
That makes it the natural choice when the gate sits close to the street, the drive slopes up behind it, or there is no wall to slide along.

Built for the Red Sea coast
A marina contractor in Saudi Arabia needed a gate that would survive salt spray at the waterline and still look open and modern. We built it from SS316 stainless steel with laminated glass panels, a concealed in-column motor and long-range RFID.
After long-term operation on the coast, all stainless parts and electrics remained free of corrosion.
Bifold gate questions
What is a bifold gate?
A bifold gate has two or more hinged panels per side that fold against the posts as the gate opens. It needs far less swing space than a standard swing gate and no side run-back like a sliding gate.
Does a CAIMEN bifold gate need a ground track?
No. The panels hang from our top-bottom axis system and fold on synchronized guides, so nothing is laid across the driveway.
How fast does it open?
The 24 V DC brushless drive completes an opening in 6 to 12 seconds, depending on gate size and speed settings.
What happens in a power cut?
A manual clutch releases the motor so the gate can be opened by hand. The drive self-locks when stopped, so the gate cannot be pushed open from outside.
How long does production take?
Production typically takes 15 to 20 days after you approve our CAD drawings.
